Admission Policy

Admissions Policy All East Riding Council swimming pools are required to have a written policy regarding the admission and supervision of children.

The basic ratio is that in the learner pool 2 children under the age of 8 must be supervised by at least 1 adult over the age of 16.

In the main pool under 4's must be supervised on a 1 to 1 basis. 4 to 7 year olds however require 1 adult to 2 children.

Admissions Policy for the Tone Zone. In order to ensure the heath and safety of all gym users, everyone who uses the gym must comply with certain regulations. In order to use the gym you must be 16 and over, and must have an induction (see the link to the left for details about fitness for ages 14+ in our Junior Gym section).

Inductions

Before using the Tone Zone at Hornsea Leisure Centre all participants must undergo an induction. This is so that everyone is aware of the correct techniques and training methods for each piece of machinery.
