Information about our services in British Sign Language (BSL)

A video below introduces Leisure Services with British Sign Language so our deaf and hearing-impaired residents can access those services easily.

Positive about disabled people

At East Riding Leisure we pride ourselves on providing a top class leisure experience to all, both online and in person. With this in mind we have various facilities and services in place for users with disabilities, to ensure they receive the same level of enjoyment from our facilities as everybody else.

There are many facilities available throughout the whole of the building, as well as some more specific to certain activities. If you feel that you will need assistance on your visit to the leisure complex, we will only be too happy to help. Please call Reception prior to your visit to make arrangements for someone to meet you on arrival.

Hornsea Leisure Centre has all facilities on one level with two internal ramps, one leading to the sports hall, and the other to the tone zone gym, dance studio, squash courts, sauna and steam areas.

There is a ramped access into the pool with available wheelchair and assistance in and out of the pool can be arranged if required.  There is no need to book for swimming, but we do recommend if you require help in and out of the pool to ring ahead of your visit.  Both the main pool and learner pool are deck level
